Exfoliation Mistakes and Misconception
Do you have dry skin?
Misconception: I'd better not exfoliate because I have dry skin. Wrong! Typically dry skin, indication you may need to increase your exfoliation game. Sometimes as skin cells die and shed they create dry flaky patches on the face. With proper moisturizing, incorporating exfoliation regularly may help dry skin immensely.
Should I exfoliate every day?
Not everyone. It is the people's best interest, learning what’s best is key for your skin.
Can exfoliation be beneficial? Might be true, for some skin types more frequent exfoliation can be beneficial.
Can I over-exfoliate? Sometimes, as under-exfoliation, dryness may be caused in the same way with over-exfoliation.
Start out slowly and take the time to learn about your skin. Increase the frequency after a week or so, and take note of your skin’s response.
It is suggested, build up their tolerance by exfoliating once, then twice a week, cruise to an ultimate goal 2–4 times a week.
